Junior Church Ministry

Matthew 19:14 NIV Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Junior Church Ministry is a vital ministry to children that embraces the overall mission of GMCC. Just as Jesus welcomed the children to come to Him, we also welcome the children to come and experience God's love and to learn that He has a purpose and plan for their lives. We seek to help them to establish a firm foundation of faith in God through His Son, Jesus Christ and to help them understand and know that they can have a personal relationship with Him. In addition, we provide teaching and encouragement for them to walk with God while young.

Junior Church is geared to children aged six to twelve, although some slightly younger and slightly older children participate from time to time. Junior Church meets the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month during the teaching/sermon time. On the 4th Sunday of the month, the children do not participate in Junior Church, but remain for the entire church service with many of them participating in the service through the ministry of the Children's Ministry/Choir.
